Corruption at the Verdant Shrine

Hope you’re not here to visit the relic. I’ve heard some terrible screams and seen odd lights coming from the shrine and the old fur trader’s camp the past three nights. The oily smoke from the camp isn’t usual, either.

Corruption at the Verdant Shrine is a 2nd-3rd level mini-dungeon and supporting six-mile hex for Shadowdark RPG. It is meant for a party of 3-5 player characters and expected to last approximately 4-6 hours.

A bearded devil has invaded a woodland shrine and is terrorizing the few surrounding encampments of humanoids, searching for knowledge that will allow access to a protected magic item.
